Nina Skage appointed as Director of Human Resources


Nina Skage is appointed as Personell and Organisational Development Director in Rieber & Søn and will take up her appointment on 1 October.


CEO Patrik Andersson says: "I am very pleased that Nina has accepted this appointment. She has extensive knowledge of our business, a large network of contacts across national borders and a good knowledge of the culture in the company.


"Personell and Organisational Development will be an integrated part of the Group’s business strategy. Career planning, competence training and performance measurement are key aspects of this work. Other major requirements include the continued development of an organisational culture and the forming of a common set of values across our businesses."


Nina is currently Director of Rieber & Søn’s food service, a job she has held for five years.


"Food service is an important future priority area for the Group," says Patrik.  "Consumers are spending an increasing amount of money on food through other channels than just supermarkets. We must therefore develop positive strategies and exciting products to improve our earnings in this growing market."


The hunt for Nina’s successor is already underway. 


"I am looking forward to making Personell and Organisational Development an integrated part of the Group’s strategy and work methods," says Nina. "In this context, employees with know-how, expertise and motivation are key to our success in developing the Group."

 

Nina will be responsible for developing an HR strategy for the entire Group, establishing processes and systems at all levels to ensure the continuous development of skilled management and employees. In addition, she will continue to develop an organisational culture that will unite the Group. Her first task, however, will be to assist with the Group’s "Future" programme, which is designed to secure structural improvements and permanent cost savings for Rieber & Søn.

 

"We must focus on Human Resource development and competence training to ensure that our employees are fully prepared for success during this period of change," she says.
